I pondered on what my father had said

幼い頃に父に言われた二つの言葉があります。

 

『アフリカでダムを作るようなスケールの大きいことをやれ』

『 物価は上がっても何十年も価格が変わらない玉子の生産のような、人々に役に立つことをやれ』

 

時代は流れて環境負荷の大きい大規模ダムはさすがにできません。

しかし環境開発コンサルタントの仕事を続けて、少しだけ近づけたような気がします。

 

来年は更に忙しくなりそうです。

それでも体は一つ、1日は24時間しかありません。

当たり前の事ですが。

 

そろそろ次の旅の支度を始めます。
